The Voodoo Park Trust was founded by the leadership team of Technology Services Company Voodoo Park Ltd. In the knowledge that gender discrimination holding too many women back, holds our world back too, the founders set up the Trust to fulfil their obligation to have a positive impact on our global communities.
Laura has held a number of roles across retail, fashion, media and non-profit organisations, ranging from customer experience management to HR generalist. She is a member of the CIPD. She is also a charity advocate for The Swallows charity and a founding member of peer to peer support group Young Tongues Global, for those who have tongue cancer. She has also written a recipe book for people going through oral cancer. Laura has a deep desire to play a part in ensuring the gender imbalance changes, so that her nieces will have a safe, fulfilled life where they can reach their fullest potential.
Rene` Nohari is a seasoned executive in the technology and customer service sectors, currently serving as the Managing Director for Customer Services & South Africa at Voodoo Park Ltd, based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Nohari brings a wealth of experience in sales and account management to her role.Before her current position, Rene` held several senior roles at Voodoo Park, including Global Customer Director and Chief Sales Officer. Her career also includes positions as an Account Manager at Datacentrix South Africa and a Client Manager at Internet Solutions South Africa, where she honed her skills in client relations and sales strategy.In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Rene` contributes to the broader community as a trustee of the Voodoo Park Trust, reflecting her commitment to social impact and organizational governance.“Working with the trustees at Voodoo Park Trust has meant so much to me as Woman empowerment is something I am passionate about. “
